Simple Plan

Simple Plan is a pop-punk band from Quebec, Canada which was formed in 1999. The members are Pierre Bouvier, Jeff Stinco, Sébastien Lefebvre, David Desrosiers and Chuck Comeau.  Simple Plan has sold more than 7 millions of discs of their first three albums.
In the beginning, some of the members formed a band called Reset, they have almost no fame, although they tried to sing with other bands to release it. As they saw no future, they separated. A few years later, they were joined again but they made some changes with the members. In this way Simple Plan formed.
Simple Plan debuted with the album ‘No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls’ in 2002 which they conquered half the world lists and they won double platinum plaques. The music was aimed at young people and teenagers.  In less than a year, the band visited five continents and they played in more than 300 shows. They also won a gold plaque in Canada and Japan. A lot of fans started to follow the group, and they could appear in a famous TV program.
In 2004, they released their second album called ‘Still Not Getting Any...’ with their famous single ‘Welcome to my life’ known around the world. The album won a platinum plaque. The reasons of the album’s name were that they weren’t getting good reviews and they weren’t getting enough respect. In this album, Simple Plan showed a dramatic style change. The style was rather rock and not punk. In this year, they started a job to young people and children who had problems with drugs, suicides, poverty...
Four years and a half later, in 2008, ‘Simple Plan’ their third album was released.  The single ‘When I’m gone’ got the 26 place in United Kingdom’s music list. They made a world tour and they made a large amount of concerts and festivals. In Quebec they made free concerts where millions of fans went. This album was in the top 10 and top 5 in a half of the world.
Their last album is called ‘Get Your Heart On!’ it was introduced in 2011. The band team up with different compositors. There are different versions of the single ‘Jet Lag’: in French, Japanese and the English original.  That is the opposite of their previous albums, it is an electrifying return to the vitality of their first two albums. The band has made two big tours. A throughout this tour we could appreciate the proximity of this band with the fans. Finally, they ended their tour in Spain, offering two shows which were attended by more than 10 000 fans where the song ‘Summer Paradise’ is the most famous.

Their next tour will be around Europe and I think that it will be a great success.

Suicidal people

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who try to end their lives. To avoid the suicidal people could be easier than it seems. If someone has problems, one of the solutions is to go to see a psychologist although it is something that not everybody can pay. Therefore, the prices for consulting a psychologist should be cheaper or even free. Thus, everyone could have access to go there and to be helped. If someone is ready to jump, we should remember him that no one is completely happy but we have to continue our lives and try to do the best as possible. Nothing is needed to be happy.

A jumper.

A man has lost his job and his wife want to let him so he has decide jumping for ending his life. Some men are trying to make him change this idea but they aren’t getting it.

He was about to jump when suddenly, a man whose clothes were completely black appeared on the edge of windows. The jumper winced.
Who are you? –He asked.
It isn’t the question. –Started to say the strange man –The question is why are you trying to call the attention of everyone? Do I have to guess that you are committing suicide? No, it can’t be possible. If you really want to end your life, you will do it in private. What do you want then? –he continued speaking while the jumper was listening dumbfounded –Ow, I know. You want someone to tell you that your life isn’t so bad, right? Someone who convinces you not to jump because life is wonderful.  You are wrong then. Your life is a shit, it is a big shit.
When the jumper heard the last sentence, he looked down.
Yes, jump if you really want –the man in black tempted him.
I want –the jumper asked.
Yes, I am sure. Common! –he insisted.
The brave man looked down again.
You won’t do it –the man continued. –You are too afraid. You don’t want to die so don’t be silly. You are the only person who could make a new life. Life is a shit but each person has something to live although it is a little reason. Look at him –he said shown a boy on the floor. –He neither has job or wife like you and he is alive.  Look at that girl with her daughter. They have a little to eat and they are alive. What do you like to do in you life? Jump if you want, it is your choice –he finally said before disappearing.
And well? –inside the room the police man asked while the man in black abandoned the room.
Ten second later the jumper entered through the window and all the people ran to catch him.

Thus, some years later, this man had formed an international restaurant chain. Furthermore, he had made different soup kitchen and business to advise people to find a job.

Poverty

Poverty is a problem what is getting bigger and bigger. Undeveloped countries are immersed in poverty because of a certain group of rich people take advantage of others. However, poverty is spreading throughout the developed world. There are a lot of people who can’t have lunch because they can’t buy or others can’t even pay a house. This is especially due to the lack of jobs. Many people can’t work despite they look for it everywhere. More and more families have been evicted from their home, therefore they are living illegally in houses which are abandoned, in ONG’s centres or in the streets. For these circumstances, some people die for hypothermia or starvation everyday. This increase has to stop.

It is true that poverty is a big problem. I think they should try to help homeless people and give them at least a house because there are lots of empty houses which the banks owe. Also, the citizens could help them giving them some food to eat and a place to have a shower if they don’t have a house. They could also dedicate some of the tax’s money to help them and buy food.

It is time to fight!

I’m here to serve everyone who need help in the fight as long as it is inside my ideals.

And this is the reason for I get up for everyone who can’t do it, I put my hand up for every injustices which are lived every day, I shout loud to can have the rights which are for us, I fight for my liberty, yours and everyone’s.

Some people think this is an useless fight but I think that even a little group can change the world because this group get illustrate at the rest and thus, together, we win all we deserve.

Opinion about a fix salary

To have a fix salary for everyone is not completely correct. I think that the clerk of a store should earn less money than a labourer. The amount of a salary has to be connected according to the weekly hours, the hard work, qualifications, etc. However, the differences between the salaries should be minimal. If some people’s salaries are too higher than others, it will produce social classes such as we have now. What it has to be insured is the right to work for everyone or a pension for old age, in case of illness and loss of work capacity. Everyone has to have food and a ceiling under living because it is a human right. Therefore, to have a fix salary isn’t quite right but it is good to secure a job.

Comparative paragraph

The style of Johnny Rotten and Rostropovich is very different. On the one hand, Johnny’s music is punk so he is noisier. When you look at him or anyone in his group, called Sex Pistols, their clothes call the attention as well as their hairs because these aren’t normally seen, these are peculiar. Their fans usually shout in their concerts and they are young people. On the other hand, Rostropovich plays classical music with the sweet sound of his cello. He looks like an elegant and serious person because of his clothes and face. His public is calm and quiet. Although their style doesn’t express the same feelings, both of them are good musicians.

Nostalgia.

Nostalgia. I feel it.
Nostalgia for what won’t return.
Miserable memories that I hold.
And I hug myself, I hug myself strongly while they are wandering through my mind.
I smile imagining them at the same time I sob. I miss them a lot.
Why did they not come back?
Why are they not repeated?
Why can they not being alive?
Why do they have to be a group of frozen images in the past?
It is frustrating to know they stayed there.
Memories.
Those which kill me so many times and so many others raise me.
I try to avoid them.
I just want to live.
Am I the only one who they pursue?
Nostalgia. It is what I feel when I look at the universe.
And immersed in the dark, what I feel? Nostalgia.

Nostalgia.
Recuerdos.
Nostalgia.

Last Wednesday I went to a feminist meeting. People are preparing the protest about gender violence which will be celebrated the next eight of November in Madrid. There, they spoke about the buses which can go from the whole region and how can they make money for helping people to pay the travel if they can’t. The principal objective is to gather as many people as possible because together we can end the abuse. Too many women die at the hands of men everyday. It is a difficult fight but little by little we will get it so I encourage people to go and to help in the projects.

Description

Pablo is one of my admired people and moreover he is a good friend. He has green eyes and although he is eighteen, he has no beard. He can look like a simple person who likes going out and having a good time, but when you really know him, you realise that he is wonderful. He has his ideas clear. He knows what he wants and always tries to get it. He is very affective with everyone and his hugs are the best in the world. He is such a good person that he fights for all injustices he watches. He helps everyone who requires his help. I think that nobody hates him. Definitely, worth knowing him.

Guernica.

Guernica from Pablo Picasso make me feel sadness. When I look at this image I can experience the same feelings that people in this attack. I can feel the destruction that they experienced. I can feel all the misfortunes that they suffered due to people who wanted power and had a thought of slavery. I can appreciate the pain in the expressions of their faces. It is perceives how they are broken inside, not only outside. I can see the tears of a mother who has lost her baby. She begs mercy. I perceive the fortress that they had to have. And nevertheless, they always had a flame of hope.
